He was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, His full name is Elon Reeve Musk.
His parents are Errol Musk(father) and Maye Musk(mother).
He began programming on a Commodore VIC-20. At 12, he created and sold his first video game, Blastar, for $500 to a South African magazine, In 1989, at 17, he moved to Canada to avoid mandatory military service in South Africa, after he moved to USA, studied in the University of Pennsylvania and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and physics.
