Early life and youth:

He was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa,  His full name is Elon Reeve Musk.

His parents are Errol Musk(father) and Maye Musk(mother).

He began programming on a Commodore VIC-20. At 12, he created and sold his first video game, Blastar, for $500 to a South African magazine, In 1989, at 17, he moved to Canada to avoid mandatory military service in South Africa, after he moved to USA, studied in the University of Pennsylvania and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and physics.



First AdVentures:

  • Zip2 (1995-1999): Co-founded Zip2 with his brother Kimbal, an online business directory platform. In 1999, Compaq acquired it for $307 million.

  • X.com and PayPal (1999-2002): Founded X.com, an online financial services company that merged with Confinity to form PayPal. In 2002, eBay bought PayPal for $1.5 billion.

Big Companies:

  • SpaceX (2002): Founded SpaceX to reduce space travel costs and colonize Mars.

  • Tesla (2004): Joined Tesla in 2004 as an investor and chairman, becoming CEO in 2008.

    • SolarCity (2006): Co-founded SolarCity to advance solar energy. Tesla acquired it in 2016 for $2.6 billion.

    • The Boring Company (2016): Founded to build tunnels to alleviate urban congestion.

About his personal life:

He became a millionaire  at 27 years old after sell Zip2, later he was included in the Forbes list of richest persons in the world with an estimated fortune of  $424.7 billion in May 2025.

He was “married” with four partners and had 11 childrens (less than Diomedes Diaz, but Elon is in the fight).
